Golf classic to benefit The Center for Family Justice
The fifth annual Golf Classic to benefit The Center for Family Justice will take place on Monday, June 16 at the Mill River Country Club in Stratford. The all-day event begins with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by golf at noon and a reception and auction after golf.
“This is such a popular event, one that people return to year after year,” said Debra Greenwood, president and CEO of the center. “People are doing what they love — playing golf — while helping to raise money for The Center for Family Justice and the work we do turning those impacted by domestic and sexual violence into survivors.”
The Center for Family Justice (formerly The Center for Women and Families), is bringing all domestic abuse, sexual assault and child abuse services — crisis intervention, police, prosecutors, civil/legal providers, counseling — under one roof, into its Bridgeport headquarters. Additionally, the center runs satellite offices in Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
There are still sponsorships available for the golf event, and if you don’t have a foursome, the committee will pair you with other participants.
Tickets are $250 per golfer. Rain date is June 17. For more information about the event, available sponsorships or to register, visit CenterForFamilyJustice.org or contact Sarah Lubarsky at 203-334-6154, Ext. 31 or email@example.com.
