First Aid to close May 20
After 29 years in business, First Aid Immediate Care Medical Center is leaving the Trumbull community.
Dr. Richard Zangrillo, medical director of First Aid, announced that the White Plains Road business would be closing Friday, May 20.
“I have had the distinct privilege of getting to know so many wonderful people and have been honored and humbled to have been entrusted with your health care,” Dr. Zangrillo wrote to Trumbull residents in a letter last week. “Whether you stopped in once, or have a chart the thickness of a phone book, rest assured that we always tried to bring our ‘A-game’ to focus on how to assist you.
“Our work has always been a team effort and I have been truly blessed to work with exceptional individuals over these many years,” he continued.
Reflecting on his almost three decades in Trumbull, Dr. Zangrillo said his favorite part of serving the community was seeing his patients grow up.
“Children have grown up to have children of their own,” he said. We have shared each other’s joys and sorrows. I cannot thank you enough for your trust in us and your kindnesses over the years.”
Northeast Medical Group will be sending First Aid patients to let them know how to get copies of medical records, the letter to the community added.
