The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center (TNAC) received a donation from Denali Outdoors and their brand partner, Patagonia.  This grant will support the work of the TNAC throughout the community.

Denali recently opened a retail store in the Westfield Shopping Center that offers outdoor clothing and gear.  As a new member of the greater Trumbull community, Denali wanted to express their support for a local organization.  Denali chose TNAC because of the common goals shared by both organizations.

As a member of the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, Denali seeks to improve access to the outdoors for all members of the community, especially youth.

Along with their donation, Denali stated “We recognize the Trumbull Nature and Arts Center for

your youth programs that promote environmental stewardship and want to acknowledge our

commitment to the very same types of programs.” The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center encourages our youth to experience nature’s many benefits.

TNAC offers a variety of programs including curriculum-based field trips for elementary school

students, scout badges for all levels of boy and girl scouts, art workshops and nature activities.  They also host special events throughout the year for adults and children.

TNAC is a member of the Children and Nature Network.

The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center is grateful to Denali for their donation.
