A White Plains Road man pleaded guilty Monday to sexually assaulting four children in Trumbull from 2010 to 2014, according a clerk at Bridgeport Superior Court.

Javier Valdovinos, 54, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault in the first degree, one count of sexual assault in the third degree, and one count of sexual assault in the fourth degree. He also pleaded guilty to four counts of risk of injury to children.

Over the five year period, Valdovinos victimized children ranging from ages 12 to 17.

He was served a fourth arrest warrant on Oct. 1, 2014 when he was charged with two counts of sexual assault in the first degree, six counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree and eight counts of risk of injury to a minor.

According to reports, he had sexually assaulted the 12-year-old daughter of a family friend. He also assaulted a 14-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.

Ernie Robear, a clerk at Bridgeport Superior Court, confirmed Valdovinos' guilty plea Tuesday afternoon.

"He was arrested three different times — all in 2014," Robear said. "All the incidents took place in the Town of Trumbull."

Robear said that a judge told Valdovinos that he would receive a sentence of 10 years in prison followed by 15 years of special parole when he is sentenced.

His next court date has been set for Sept. 11, Robear said.

In addition to his October arrest warrant, Valdovinos was also arrested and served a third warrant on July 2, 2014. He was held on a $500,000 bond.

In that third arrest warrant, he was charged with two counts of sexual assault in the first degree, one count of sexual assault in the third degree, one count of unlawful restraint in the first degree and three counts of injury to a minor. He surrendered to Trumbull police in July, a police report said.

In two earlier arrests warrants, both served on May 15, 2014, he was charged with one count of sexual assault in the third degree and two counts of risk of injury to minor. In the second of the two warrants, he was charged with three counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree and three counts of risk of injury to a minor.
