Trumbull Day organizers looking for volunteers, vendors and sponsors

Organizers for Trumbull Day, scheduled for Saturday June 29, are looking for volunteers, vendors and potential sponsors, according to the town website.

Originally established in 1972 to celebrate the Town of Trumbull’s 175th Anniversary, Trumbull Day is a family event to run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the fields behind Trumbull High School, ending with a fireworks display.

As the Times reported last week, the event is back this year and received approval to serve beer and wine, to help offset costs. Carnival rides and games will also be available as well as musical acts, with Trumbull ties. Vendors will also be selling food and crafts,

Volunteers are needed to help out on Trumbull Day. If you are interested in volunteering at Trumbull Day, please contact John Karpowich at
