Local historian/author, Sue DelBianco, will be hosting a slide presentation called “Rails To Back Trails,” which shows the audience, through captivating images, the then-and-now of the history of the train line that ran from Bridgeport, The Trumbull Valley, Monroe, and eventually ending in Pittsfield, Mass. Today, the abandoned rail road corridor from Trumbull-Monroe has become one of Connecticut’s best recreational trails.
The presentation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m., at Trumbull High School, 72 Strobel Road, Trumbull, in the main auditorium. Admission is free. No reservations are needed. Seating available.
