The Bethlehem Experience canceled

Friday, 1:20 p.mWith the impending storm forecast for Saturday into Sunday morning, a decision has been made to cancel this event this year.

This way all of the residents of Trumbull and the surrounding area can plan accordingly.

On behalf of everyone at Crossroads Community Church, we offer warm wishes for a safe, peaceful, joyous season.

Original post: Families are invited to attend The Bethlehem Experience, where for one day, Frenchtown Elementary School, 30 Frenchtown Road, will be transformed into Bethlehem, giving families a chance to experience the Bethlehem scene, just as Mary and Joseph did more than 2,000 years ago.

This free, hands-on Christmas experience takes place on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

This fun, interactive day features dozens of activities geared for kids of all ages. Ride a donkey, register for the census, knock on the innkeeper’s door, walk through a live nativity, or visit the petting zoo. Guests can stand by the fire with shepherds, meet an angel, talk to the Wise Men and hear about the birth of Jesus. Plus, everyone can enjoy free games, crafts and beverages.
