‘Singing the Great Conflict: The Greatest Hits of the Civil War’

On Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m., in the Trumbull Library’s Community Room, Rick Spencer will perform a program of songs which were popular during the war. CDs available for purchase.

Spencer is known internationally for his work as a historian, researcher, singer, songwriter and performer of music in the American folk tradition. For more than 25 years, he has traveled and performed at venues which include concert stages, folk festivals, museums, historical societies, schools, libraries, pubs and others.
