Schools, town buildings, vaccine clinics closed in Trumbull

TRUMBULL — Town Hall and all town buildings are closed today due to the winter storm that is expected to drop nearly two feet of snow on the region. Town Hall exployees will be working remotely and are available through the contact directory on the town website, trumbull-ct.gov.

Public Works, EMS and the Police Department are open for emergency services.

A parking ban is in effect today through the duration of snow clearing work. All vehicles must be removed from town roads.

All Trumbull public and private schools are closed Monday, Feb. 1. Superintendent Martin Semmel said he does not expect to make a decision on school opening Tuesday, Feb. 2 until Monday evening or Tuesday morning.

UPDATE — 9:18 a.m. - All Bridgeport Hospital COVID-19 vaccination clinics are closed Monday, Feb. 1, including the Trumbull Northeast Medical Group location at 112 Quarry Road. Hospital spokesman John Cappiello said there is no word yet on whether the clinics would open Tuesday, Feb. 2 but staff was “hoping for a quick resolution.”
