Booth Hill School
May 5-6, the Mother’s Day Plant Sale will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

May 9, Jump Rope for Heart will be held at THS from 6:30-8 p.m.

May 11, the 5th grade chorus dress rehearsal will be held at 1:45 p.m. And on May 12, the 5th grade concert will be held at 7 p.m.


Frenchtown School
Thursday, May 12 will be a PTA meeting and PTA elections at 6:30 p.m. Hope you can join us!

Family Science Night is Friday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. Mad Science of Fairfield and New Haven Counties “Fire and Ice” will be featured.

Grades 2 and 5 chorus concerts will be Tuesday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

Trumbull’s District-Wide Cultural Committee will meet on Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m., at Frenchtown School. The meeting will be in the media center. All are invited to attend.

Kindergarten bus rides for incoming kindergartners will be on May 25 or May 26. Information was mailed home.


Jane Ryan School
The PTA is still looking to fill some vacancies for the 2016-18 term, including co-presidents, Bingo chairperson and Reflections chairperson. Contact Diana Inesta or Kristine Vitola if interested.

The Kids Marathon is officially kicked off for spring. The kids are running on Wednesdays and Fridays. Forms have gone out and should be returned to school to sign up for the final mile on May 22. The PTA will be asking for volunteers as we get closer to the final mile to help that day.

Save the date for two Father’s Club events. Dinner and Dueling Pianos at Marisa’s on Friday, May 13 and the annual campout on Saturday, June 4, on the field behind Jane Ryan. A flier on Dueling Pianos went home in backpacks. The event is $40 per person to be paid in advance. Cost includes piano show, salad, pasta, entrée, bread, soft drinks, coffee, and ice cream. The spring concert will be on Tuesday, May 24 at Madison Middle School at 7 p.m. Featured will be the school’s string orchestra, school band and fifth grade chorus.

The fourth grade Flag Day concert will be held on Friday, June 10 in the cafeteria for 4th grade parents and families at 2:15 p.m.
