Frenchtown School
Trumbull’s District-Wide Cultural Committee will meet on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m., at Frenchtown School. The meeting will be in the media center. All are invited to attend.
Grade 3’s Living Museum is from 9:15-9:45 a.m., on Friday, May 20.
The Frenchtown Father’s Club Family Day ’16 will be on Saturday, May 21 beginning at 4:30. Movie will be shown at sunset about 8:30 p.m., by playground for grades 2, 3, 4 and 5. $3 admission. Most food items will be $1 each.
Science Fair projects from each class, grades K-4, will be on display all week in the lobby beginning Monday, May 23.
The school picnic for students only will be on Tuesday, May 24 during their regular lunch shifts.
The PTA Banquet will be on Wednesday, May 25. Fliers were sent home.
Kindergarten bus rides for incoming kindergartners will be on May 25 or May 26. Information was mailed home.
Sensitivity Day is Friday, May 27, in the morning. Grade 4 classes will participate in activities. All other grades will have readers in their room.
No school on Monday, May 30, for Memorial Day.
Jane Ryan School
The PTA is still looking to fill some vacancies for the 2016-18 term, including co-presidents, Bingo Chairperson and Reflections Chairperson. Contact Diana Inesta or Kristine Vitola if interested.
The Kids Marathon is ongoing. Forms have gone out and should be returned to school to sign up for the final mile on May 22. The PTA will be asking for volunteers as we get closer to the final mile to help that day.

The Spring concert will be on Tuesday, May 24 at Madison Middle School at 7 p.m. Featured will be the school’s string orchestra, school band and fifth grade chorus.
The fourth grade Flag Day concert will be held on Friday, June 10 in the cafeteria for 4th grade parents and families at 2:15 p.m.
