Frenchtown School
There is no school on Friday, April 1, for professional development for staff.

On Thursday, March 31, students and staff should wear rainbow colors for honesty.

Parent orientation for incoming kindergarten students at Frenchtown for the 2016-17 school year is Thursday, March 31, at 9 a.m. Parents visit the school without their children to meet with Mrs. Norcel and other staff and PTA representatives in the cafetorium. Parents should have registered their child for kindergarten at the assistant superintendent’s office at Long Hill. Letters were mailed home from Frenchtown to all parents whom have already registered their children.

Third grade Math Night for parents and students is Wednesday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the cafetorium.  More information will be sent home.

Friday, April 8, will be Jump Rope for Heart Day at Frenchtown. Notices and sponsor forms were sent home last week.

Fathers’ Club Movie Night will be Friday, April 8, at 7 p.m. in the cafetorium. Notices will be sent home soon about the movie that will be shown.

Spring vacation will be Monday, April 11,  to Friday, April 15

Every Tuesday will be Spirit Day. Students and staff will wear blue and white, Frenchtown spirit wear or a shirt with a wolf on it. The last Tuesday of every month is Citizenship Day when students and staff wear red, white and blue.

Frenchtown School was participating in three rewards programs.

The school has earned $4,255.43 thanks to those who shopped at Stop & Shop during the A+ program. That figure may not be final, according to the school.

Frenchtown’s school code school code is 49972 in the ShopRite for Education program. Those who have a Price Plus Club card may sign up at Frenchtown earns points towards free educational equipment.

Frenchtown is also collecting Box Tops for Education.

BOOK FAIR – APRIL 5, 6, & 7 – Volunteers needed TheTashua Spring BOGO Book Fair will be held on April 5, 6 and 7 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning) during designated school hours.  All children will have the opportunity to shop and purchase books during their designated class time-slot on one of these days.  Parents are welcome to come in and shop.  Teachers will also have the opportunity to make a class wish-list that will be available at the book fair registers.
