The milling and resurfacing of Route 108 in Trumbull and Shelton is set to start Friday.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing the 1.98 miles of Route 108. The project is scheduled to start Friday, June 6 to Wednesday, June 18. The resurfacing segment of this project is expected to be June 13 through Wednesday, June 18.

The regular work schedule for this project is 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 108 from .01 mile north of Unity Road to Bayberry Lane. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in the area, according to the state DOT.
