Christmas Tea - Dec. 5
The annual Christmas Tea will be on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, sponsored by their Women’s Fellowship. Guest musician: Martha Meyer. Reservations can be made with the church at 203-374-8822.
Christmas Fair - Dec. 7
On Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Trinity Episcopal Church, 1734 Huntington Tpke., in Trumbull will hold a Christmas Fair. Featuring: Baked goods, cookies trays, cakes, jams, many antique treasures and collectibles; Christmas floral centerpieces, arts and crafts, silent auction items, religious items, and more. ‘An Out-of-the-Box Christmas’ Dec. 8
The children of Calvary Church will perform “An Out-of-the-Box Christmas” show on Sunday, Dec. 8 at Calvary Church, 498 White Plains Road, in Trumbull. Come hear the message of Christmas in a way you’ve never heard before. There are two free performances; 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.

Holiday Harmonies Cabaret - Dec. 14
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Road, will be holding their annual Holiday Harmonies on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. Join the Coastal Chordsmen and some special guests in a concert from the heart and for the heart. This year’s concert will be part of the congregation’s “God’s Work, Our Hands!” program and is being held in conjunction with a food drive to benefit The Bridgeport Rescue Mission. The concert is cabaret style. Bring your snacks, or even your dinner, and be entertained while you eat. Coffee and dessert are on us! Bring your non-perishable food donation with you and help the Bridgeport Rescue Mission provide nutritious meals for the hungry in our area. Tickets are $15 each. Christmas for Kids Fest — Dec. 21
The 20th annual Christmas for Kids Fest will be held at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave., (across from City Line Florist) on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 1-4 p.m. Children ages 4 through 12 are invited for an afternoon of games, some festive singing, snacks and a presentation entitled “Who Saved Christmas?” as we keep Christ in Christmas. Night of Christmas music - Dec. 21
The monthly spaghetti dinner/concert series continues at Trumbull’s Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., (next to The Corner Deli). While we’ve all been inundated with commercial Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 21 will bring an evening of sacred music for all to enjoy, and it’s all free. It begins at 5:30 p.m., with restaurant quality spaghetti and meatballs, accompanied by bread, salad, desserts and beverages. Cost is $11. Following, the free Christmas concert will be at 7 p.m. It will be an evening of sacred music with some hymn singing as well. The Long Hill United Methodist Church Choir will be joined by some special guests. Noted cellist Jennifer Burkhalter will be teamed with violinist Darwin Chen. The Bridgeport Boy’s Choir will also be featured along with soloists Anthony Whitaker and Jackie.
