Local Historian/Author, Sue DelBianco, introduces her new video Rails To Trails: A Journey Back In Time, a historical documentary on a train line, which ran through Bridgeport, Trumbull, Monroe and Newtown, linking the communities and bringing industry alive. The line from Bridgeport-Monroe was abandoned in the early 40’s, and today the abandoned railway corridor has now become one of Connecticut’s best recreational trails called Rails To Trails. What became of the rail line and everything that sprung up around it? This video tells the real story. For a copy of the video, contact Sue DelBianco at her e-mail: delbiancosue@yahoo.com or call 203-260-5394.
