The monthly spaghetti dinner/concert series continues at Trumbull’s Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., (next to The Corner Deli). While we’ve all been inundated with commercial Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 21 will bring an evening of sacred music for all to enjoy, and it’s all free. It begins at 5:30 p.m., with restaurant quality spaghetti and meatballs, accompanied by bread, salad, desserts and beverages. Cost is $11. Following, the free Christmas concert will be at 7 p.m. It will be an evening of sacred music with some hymn singing as well. The Long Hill United Methodist Church Choir will be joined by some special guests. Noted cellist Jennifer Burkhalter will be teamed with violinist Darwin Chen. The Bridgeport Boy’s Choir will also be featured along with soloists Anthony Whitaker and Jackie.

Be sure to get there early to insure your place at dinner and the concert. There is a parking lot on Main Street as well as Elizabeth Street. For further information, call 203-954-9691.
