Man killed in Easthampton crash, police say

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) — A 29-year-old man was killed in a car crash in Easthampton on Friday, authorities said.

Police were called to the area of 44 Glendale Street around 9:30 p.m. on reports of a crash. The driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver was identified as Nicholas Yell, of Chicopee.

Eastham Police and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
