Before last Saturday’s snow storm canceled some weekend holiday events, the town held its annual tree lighting on the Town Hall Green. The lighting included a visit from Santa, who came in on the Long Hill Fire’s lighted truck, and music by the Madison Middle School Band (below). Above, State Rep. Dave Rutigliano (R-123) and his sons, David and Joseph, stand in front of the truck with State Rep. Tony Hwang (R-134) and First Selectman Timothy Herbst. The first selectman asked Trumbullites to consider committing an act of kindness last weekend, in memory of one-year anniversary of Sandy Hook shooting.
