Nourish Our Girls — Feeding our daughters well now to protect them from breast cancer later health talk. Thursday, May 2, 6:30-7:30 p.m. You could drastically reduce the chance of your daughter getting breast cancer as an adult by changing what she eats now, and benefit your entire family’s long-term health. Teens & Tweens — Create your own seed paper bookmark. Wednesday, May 8, 4-5 p.m. Create a seed paper bookmark that can be planted. Makes a great Mother’s Day gift. Please Register.

PSAT practice test for teens — Thursday, May 9, 5-8 p.m. Brush up on your test-taking skills with this practice test, conducted by Kaplan representative. Bring #2 pencils and a calculator. Register. Free.

Family Chess Club — Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m.-noon. Selva Selvarajan’s Family Chess Club will assemble on the first and third Saturdays (except for long weekends). Chess learners and experts from 4 to 94 are welcome. Meet in the Children’s Section with your own board, or come to watch.
