Julian Saad from Trumbull, a graduate student at Providence College, was one of four Friars to earn All-Northeast Regional honors when Providence placed fourth as a team to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.

Saad was the fourth Friar to cross the finish line, as he finished 18th overall in the field of 250 competitors with a time of 30:38.3.

Providence finished second at the Big East Championships on Nov. 2, in Somers, Wis.

Saad earned a 10th-place finish with a time of 24:30.

Saad was the first Friar to cross with a fifth-place finish at the Boston College Invitational on Sept. 27.

Saad finished the 8K race in a season-best time of 24:16.0.
