HAN FCIAC winter sports previews: Westhill Vikings

On one of the coldest days of a warm December, the HAN Network Cruiser pulled into Westhill High School to find a bunch of enthusiastic Vikings. It was the third stop on our Winter FCIAC Tour to interview the upcoming sports season's captains and coaches.
Before starting our live winter sports coverage, the HAN Network set out on another voyage through Fairfield County to meet the captains and coaches of the teams at all 17 FCIAC schools. We ended up at Westhill on Tuesday, Dec. 8. You can check out the other interviews at this page or on our YouTube Channel.
The tour started on Monday afternoon, Dec. 7, at Darien High School and is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 15, in Greenwich. There are nearly 30 games on HAN’s winter schedule that include eight sports: Boys and girls ice hockey, boys and girls basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, boys swimming and indoor track. You can check out the winter schedule at this link. (Note: It is subject to change the season progresses.)
You can follow the HAN Network broadcast team’s trip through the county on the HAN Network Twitter feed or by searching and using the hashtags, #FCIACtour and #HANcruiser.
Our initial 2015-16 winter sports schedule includes at least one Westhill contest: A rematch of last winter’s FCIAC boys basketball championship between Norwalk and the Vikings. But some more games could be added during the season and HAN has exclusive broadcasting rights for all league postseason contests.
Rob Adams, HAN Network's sports director conducted the interviews of the Westhill athletes who joined us on Tuesday, Dec. 7. You can watch all the interviews below:
