Frenchtown School

Student Council’s food drive ends Monday, Nov. 25. Food will be delivered to Trumbull Social Services on Priscilla St., in Trumbull.

Tuesday, Nov. 26 is Citizenship Day. Wear red, white and blue.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the grade 1 feast will take place at 1:45 p.m., and the pow-wow at 2:30.

Wednesday, Nov. 27, grade 4 performance at 9 a.m. This is a legal day and students are dismissed at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served.

Hanukkah begins at sundown on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Reflections theme is “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” Categories include dance, film, music, photography, visual art and literature. Submissions are due by Dec. 7. Visit ctpta.org/conferences/reflections-documents.html for more information.

Middlebrook School

Nov 22, Movie Night at Middlebrook, presented by the Father’s Club: Monsters University. Doors open 5:30 p.m.,and the movie starts 6:30. Each admission gets you pizza, a drink and popcorn.

Middlebrook Student Council is seeking donations for their Food and Essential Thanksgiving Drive to support the Bpt. Rescue Mission. Drop off items in boxes in the lobby now through Dec. 6. Suggestions for each grade were sent home with children last week.

Friday, Nov. 22: Tashua’s annual Holiday Boutique. All students will have the opportunity to purchase gifts for the holidays for family members, friends, teachers and anyone else on their gift list. The PTA Reflections Program theme for 2013-2014 is “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” Students choose the arts category they are interested in, create an original piece of artwork based on the theme, and receive recognition artists in their communities.
