Elected members of the Trumbull Democratic Party will host an open forum this Sat., January 24.

The forum will start at noon at the Fairchild-Nichols Memorial Library, 1718 Huntington Turnpike. All Trumbull residents are welcome.

“Trumbull residents have been asking for something like this, and we've heard them," Democratic Party Chair Tom Kelly said. “We want to listen to what’s important to our constituents so that we can set our priorities for 2015. We want folks to know who their representatives are, have a chance to meet them and know exactly how they can get in contact with them in the future.”

Democrats say discussion topics will include the upcoming budget, education and the town’s public schools, taxes, economic development, sewers/sewer use fees, roads and infrastructure, or any issue residents would like to discuss.
