Work off your Thanksgiving Day splurges at the 18th annual Cow Chip Cross Country Run, this Saturday, Nov. 30, starting at Trumbull High’s Agriscience and Biotechnology Center.

The three mile walk/run is on the fields and trails of the Trumbull High campus. There is also a “Chip off the old block” half-mile run at 9:15 a.m., that is free for kids sixth grade and under. The race starts at 9:30 a.m. and registration starts at 8 a.m.. It is is hosted by Trumbull High Girls Cross Country Team and will benefit the MS Society and girls team.

Race day registration costs $25. A reduced price of $15 is available for all 18 and under and 70-plus aged runners. For more information visit www.clubct.org.
