The Cadets scored 274 points in the 22-team race, which was won by Weston (68 points).

Senior Carmine Corica was the top St. Joseph finisher, placing 28th overall in 18:11.

Freshman James Mas placed 33rd overall in 18:17 and senior Brian Reilly placed 64th in 19:02.

Freshman Nick Zannis placed 74th (19:19), sophomore Kyle O’Brien 75th (19:21), junior Jared Quigley 81st (19:30) and senior Nick Rosenau 90th (19:50).

“We had strong performances overall from our runners,” St. Joseph coach David Scrivines said. “I was pleased with our runners, their determination and their improvement throughout the season.”

The Cadets graduate Reilly, Corica, Rosenau and Mike Lovello, each of whom were key performers for the Cadets this season.

“The four seniors improved tremendously over the course of four years,” Scrivines said. “I’m proud of each of their accomplishments and what they meant to the team.”
