The St. Joseph High boys hockey team dropped a 5-3 decision to Glastonbury at the Rinks at Shelton on Wednesday.

Sean Smith gave the Cadets a 1-0 lead with Colin Powell gaining the assist in the ninth minute before the Tomahawks scored at 10:53 and 11:59 to take a 2-1 lead at the first break.

It was 3-1 Glastonbury when Andrew Gore found the net at 8:00 of the second stanza. Matt Greenhut had the assist.

Greenhut scored at 10:52 of the third between a pair of Tomahawk tallies.

Christian Keator and Ryan Corcoran had assists.

Marc Van Etten made 15 saves in net for the Cadets (1-1-0).
