Vehicles allegedly stolen from Stratford, Trumbull and New Canaan were among those Hartford police say they have recovered.

Four vehicles allegedly stolen in Trumbull — a 2011 Jeep Cherokee, a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a 2017 Audi Q5 and a 2016 Mazda CX 5, were recovered, along with a 2013 Honda Civic allegedly stolen from Stratford, and a 2020 Mazda CX5 allegedly stolen from New Canaan, according to police tweets.

Hartford police also recovered these allegedly stolen vehicles: a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from Hartford, and 2019 Lincoln Nautilus from Avon, a 2011 Subaru Outback from Glastonbury and a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from Johnston, R.I.

Five people were charged, including one juvenile, according to a tweet from Hartford police. Information on the identities of those arrested and the charges was not available from Hartford police Sunday.

In their tweets, Hartford police reiterated advice from Fairfield and New Haven county departments to lock vehicles and take keys or fobs inside.
