Manchester Little League reaches state final with win over Simsbury

STAMFORD--Manchester Little League will be playing for a state championship Sunday.

Manchester rallied in the top of the sixth to tie the Little League State Semifinals and then won it in extra innings 3-1 over Simsbury.

Paul Virdokian came through with a two-run double in the top of the seventh for the winning runs.

Simsbury got on the board first in the fourth inning.

After Mason Dolch doubled with one out in the inning, Matt Watson singled him home giving Simsbury a 1-0 lead.
