After 29 years in business, First Aid Immediate Care Medical Center is leaving the Trumbull community. Dr. Richard Zangrillo, medical director of First Aid, announced that the White Plains Road business would be closing Friday, May 20. \u201cI have had the distinct privilege of getting to know so many wonderful people and have been honored and humbled to have been entrusted with your health care,\u201d Dr. Zangrillo wrote to Trumbull residents in a letter last week. \u201cWhether you stopped in once, or have a chart the thickness of a phone book, rest assured that we always tried to bring our \u2018A-game\u2019 to focus on how to assist you. \u201cOur work has always been a team effort and I have been truly blessed to work with exceptional individuals over these many years,\u201d he continued. \u00a0 Reflecting on his almost three decades in Trumbull, Dr. Zangrillo said his favorite part of serving the community was seeing his patients grow up. \u201cChildren have grown up to have children of their own,\u201d he said. We have shared each other\u2019s joys and sorrows. \u00a0I cannot thank you enough for your trust in us and your kindnesses over the years.\u201d \u00a0 Northeast Medical Group will be sending First Aid patients to let them know how to get copies of medical records, the letter to the community added.
