Digital Downloading: Overdrive and Zinio — Friday, Dec. 2, 10-11:30 a.m. A lecture, demonstration of the Overdrive system for downloading ebooks, audiobooks, periodicals and live streaming of video, as well as the Zinio magazine platform. Library staff member Mary Rogers will demonstrate how to search the Overdrive system and how easy it is to download to your device. Trumbull residents. Register.

Non-fiction Discussion Group — Wednesday, Dec. 7, noon-1 p.m. Dec.’s title is Citizens of London: the Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest Hour, by Lynne Olson. The behind-the- scenes story of how the U.S. forged its alliance with Britain, told by three key American players in London: Edward R. Murrow, Averell Harriman, and John Gilbert Winant.
