Non-fiction discussion group — The Director's Club. Wednesday, Oct. 7, noon-1 p.m. Dir. Sue Horton’s club. Oct.’s title is Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania, by Erik Larsen.  Preschool University — Monday, Oct. 5, 10-10:45 a.m., or Thursday, Oct. 8, 1:30-2:15 p.m. Preschoolers 4 and 5 years old will practice the skills needed for kindergarten all while having fun with this new story time format. Drop in. Child or caregiver Trumbull resident.

Toddler Time — Tuesday, Oct. 6, 10-10:45 a.m., or Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1:30-2:15 p.m. Toddlers 2 and 3 years old will explore learning stations, educational themes and great stories in our new story time format. Drop in.

Baby Café — Birth to 2 years. Wednesday, Oct. 7 or Thursday, Oct. 8, 11-11:30 a.m. Baby's first introduction to the library. Babies and caregivers can expect a jam-packed session of rhythm and rhymes guaranteed to enchant our littlest explorers. Drop in.

Caterpillars Storytime — 0-12 months. Monday, Oct. 5, 10:15-10:45 a.m. Attention all wiggly caterpillars. Babies from birth to 12 months are invited to join us for gentle songs, stories, puppets, and more. Drop in.

Butterflies Storytime — Ages 1-2. Monday, Oct. 5, 11-11:30 a.m. It’s time for your little toddler to turn into a social butterfly. Children ages 1 to 2 years old will enjoy a fun morning storytime, with songs, stories, and puppets. Drop in.

Storytime, 4s and 5s — Monday, Oct. 5 or Tuesday, Oct. 6, 3-3:45 p.m. We'll read amazing stories and make a fun craft that you can take home. Drop in.

Storytime ages 2 1/2 to 3 — Wednesday, Oct. 7, 10:30-11 a.m. Come join us for storytime. We'll read stories and create some fun art to take home. Drop in.

Preschool Fun with Jyothi — Wednesday, Oct. 7, 11:30 a.m.-noon. ABCs, numbers, shapes, and more learning fun. For ages 2-5. Register for each class separately.

Mini Artists ages 3-5 — Thursday, Oct. 8, 10:30-11:15 a.m. In this art class, you'll get to make wonderful projects that you can take home. Program held twice monthly. Register. Free.

Toddler Yoga with Jyothi — Ages 1-4. Thursday, Oct. 8, 11:30 a.m.-noon. Parents are welcome to join with their children. They will learn postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation in a fun, age-appropriate setting with music. Mats not required. Max. 10 children; register for each session.
