The Russians Are Coming — Connecticut Little Symphony presents Russian selections to announce the Winter Olympics. Sunday, Jan. 12, -3 p.m. To salute the 2014 Winter Olympics starting in February in Sochi, Russia, the Connecticut Little Symphony presents a concert of Russian music including Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Quintet for Piano and Winds, and Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise.
