Thursday, Jan. 22, 7-8:30 p.m. If you’re in the entrepreneur category now or not, this might be an exciting and creative way to be your own boss or get paid to work for a nonprofit you volunteer with. Children’s Events

Get Out of the House Playgroup — Friday, Jan. 23, 11 a.m.-noon. Children ages 1-3 years old and their parents/caregivers are invited to play, sing and have fun for this special January playgroup.

Hour of code — Ages 7 to 10. Thursday, Jan. 29, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Learn basic computer coding while working together with a fun and educational program. Themes include Frozen, Angry Birds, and Plants vs. Zombies. Anyone can learn to code. Registration required. Meet in Children’s Tech Center.
