Stratford Sister Cities Chorus — Sunday, Oct. 22, 2 p.m. Singing both secular and non-secular music, this chorus is an ensemble of choral and cultural ambassadors for the Town of Stratford, bringing music and friendship to the Stratfords of the world and entertainment to our community. Spooky story and craft — Grades 3-5. Saturday, Oct. 21, 3-3:45 p.m. Hear a scary story and create a witch's hat decoration for Halloween. We will be using glue guns. Register.

Baby Café — Ages 6-months to 2-years. Tuesday, Oct. 24 or Wednesday, Oct. 25, 11-11:30 a.m. Baby's first introduction to the library. Babies and caregivers can expect a jam-packed session of stories, rhymes, and fingerplays guaranteed to enchant our youngest explorers. Drop in.

Family Book Club — Grades 1-3 and their families. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 5-5:45 p.m. This month’s title is 8 Class Pets + 1 Squirrel [Divided by] 1 Dog = Chaos, by Vivian Vande Velde. In this funny, easy chapter book, a group of small animals manages to turn an elementary school into a real zoo. Read it as a family, then join other families for discussion and activity. Intro to 3D printing in the Creators’ Corner — Ages 8-12. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Learn Tinkercad to digitally design your own 3D model (simple game piece) using a computer. Then 3D print it, to take home, with the Makerbot Replicator 2 Desktop. A hands-on experience. Free. Register.
