Non-fiction discussion group: The Director’s Club — Wednesday, April 1, noon-1 p.m. Director Sue Horton’s club. April’s title is Miss Anne in Harlem: The White Women of the Black Renaissance, by Carla Kaplan. 1920s New York City --freedom, experimentation, and passion--with Harlem at the epicenter. Fruit or vegetable poetry contest — One Book-One Town 2015. Write a poem of your favorite fruit or vegetable, then display it within art work of your favorite. Deadline Saturday, March 28, 5 p.m. On display in the library during April poetry month. Details on event calendar.
