Two presentations — Memory loss and Alzheimer’s

Bridges by EPOCH at Trumbull will host the presentation, Managing the Challenging Symptoms of Memory Loss, at the Bridges by EPOCH at Trumbull Welcome Center, 945 White Plains Road, on Thursday, April 30, at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Learn how to manage the challenging symptoms of memory loss in this educational presentation including the common symptoms to expect and how you can best manage them. Alicia Seaver, director of memory care at Bridges by EPOCH and a memory impairment specialist certified by the National Institute on Aging, will lead the presentation.

Also, Bridges by EPOCH at Trumbull will host the presentation, Alzheimer’s and its Effects on the Family, at the Bridges by EPOCH at Trumbull Welcome Center, 945 White Plains Road, on Thursday, May 14, at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Explore how Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia can affect more than just the individual coping with the disease. Learn about the potential challenges for the whole family and discuss helpful tips on how best to work through them.

The presentation will be led by Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Director Alicia Seaver, a memory impairment specialist certified by the National Institute on Aging and Teepa Snow.
