Two Trumbull residents receive BIC scholarships

Two Trumbull residents are recipients of BIC scholarships. The scholarships are awarded annually to children of BIC employees and are based on the students’ scholastic achievements and community service.

This year, BIC awarded a total of $115,000 in scholarships to 64 winners, including these two Trumbull residents:

Taryn Bartolucci, who is studying Psychology at the University of Alabama, received a $1,000 scholarship. She is the daughter of Bruce Bartolucci.

Megan Shepard, who is studying Accounting at Fairfield University, received a $3,000 scholarship. She is the daughter of Linda Shepard.

BIC Corporation began its scholarship program in 1971 to support future leaders and to help employees’ children defray the cost of college and graduate school. Over the past 43 years, BIC has awarded more than $2,220,000 in merit scholarships.
