The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center (TNAC) recently received a generous donation from Sun Products Corporation. The grant will support the work of the TNAC throughout the community.
The TNAC offers a variety of programs, including curriculum-based field trips for elementary school students, scout badges for all levels of boy and girl scouts, and programs including both art and nature activities.
The TNAC also hosts special events throughout the year for adults and Children. Sun Products has been a supporter of the TNAC since their arrival in Trumbull in 2009. The Sun Products Full Circle Playground, made of recycled plastic, is the centerpiece of the TNAC outdoor play area.
This latest grant will help TNAC to further develop our outdoor activity area that now includes a musical xylophone and an expanded children’s play area.
