The Trumbull Health Department will be hosting a free blood pressure screening on Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Trumbull Library main branch. It will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to all residents of Trumbull. The Clinic operates on a “walk-in” basis, so you do not need to call ahead to schedule an appointment.
According to The American Heart Association, there are no symptoms in people with pre-diabetes. Likewise, people have no way of knowing they have high cholesterol or high blood pressure without being tested. In addition to the screenings, the staff will provide additional information on diabetes and heart health.
