Trumbull Business Network to host presentation on lending to small businesses

The Trumbull Business Network (TBN) will host a presentation on lending to small businesses, by Paula Woodhouse of Newtown Savings Bank, on Wednesday, March 23, at 7:30 a.m., at the Helen Plumb Building, 571 Church Hill Road.

Members of the public are invited to attend and participate.

Woodhouse is the Small Business Lending Sales Leader for Newtown Savings Bank and has been with Newtown Savings Bank since May 2004 and has held various positions in commercial banking for more 30 years. She also is a frequent presenter for the United State SBA’s workshops for small business owners in Newtown, where she discusses financing options for small business owners.

The Trumbull Business Network is comprised of business owners and managers who service customers and clientele in the Greater Trumbull area. TBN meets every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the Helen Plumb Building, 571 Church Hill Road. At these meetings, the members learn about each other’s businesses, do trouble shooting, refer business to each other, share tips on how to improve their businesses, and regularly give short talks about their fields of expertise that are of value and interest to the general business community.
