Trumbull Historian/Author, Sue A.DelBianco will be conducting a slide presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 p.m., at the Fairchild- Nichols Memorial Library, 1718 Huntington Tpke., Trumbull. It is entitled Rails To Back Trails, which tells the story through captivating images on slides of the then-and-now of railroad history through Bridgeport, The Trumbull Valley, Monroe, Newtown all the way to Pittsfield, Mass. Today, the abandoned rail corridor from Trumbull-Monroe is abandoned and has become one of Connecticut’s best recreational trails.
