Trish Manfredi will present her program Tips for Blue Ribbon Horticulture Entries, when the Long Hill Garden Club meets on Monday, April 27, at the Trumbull Library.
The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m., and the program will start at 12:45 p.m. She will talk about what the judges expect in a top placing specimen, whether it's a flowering houseplant, a foliage perennial or a vegetable from your garden.
Manfredi is an accredited National Garden Club Flower Show Judge and is Design Chair for the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut Judges Council. She served as chair of judges for the Connecticut State Flower Show for three years.
