Karla Dalley will present her program Houseplants for the Four Exposures, when the Long Hill Garden Club meets on Monday, March 23, at the Trumbull Library. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m., and the program will start at 12:45 p.m.
Dalley will bring some of her more interesting plants suited for all exposures; north, south, east and west. She will explain how plants can be flexible if they are treated well and will also talk about how to care for them organically without toxic substances if insects or diseases present themselves. She will also discuss some of the best plants to help purify the air.
Dalley is a garden columnist at West Hartford Magazine and Gardendaze. She is a member of the Connecticut Horticulture Society.
