'Prepping Our Gardens for Fall' program at Trumbull Library

On Thursday, Aug. 22, at 6:30 p.m., in the Trumbull Library’s Community Room, Nancy Baker, Gardens by Nancy, will focus on how to prepare beds, as well as which perennials and winter vegetables to plant. Baker is a Conn. Certified Advanced Master Gardener, a NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care Professional, a Federated Garden Club Consultant, both Landscape Design and Garden.  She is a member of the Long Hill Garden Club in Trumbull and volunteers at the Bethel extension office where she mentors master gardener interns and is involved in various community outreach projects.

Her business, Gardens by Nancy, offers garden design and custom care, as well as landscape consulting services. She is also a “garden coach” and has helped many who enjoy gardening but either have not yet mastered the skills necessary to do it all themselves, or would simply like new ideas and/or a little assistance. Registration requested at 203-452-5197 or on-line at www.trumbullct-library.org
