Ever wonder what Google Glass is? Find out July 24 at library

What does the world look like through Google Glass? Heather Ruland Staines, Google Glass Explorer, shares the world as she sees it through her Google Glasses, on Thursday, July 24, at 6:30 p.m., in the Trumbull Library’s Community Room.

She became a Google Glass Explorer in June 2013 when she was selected as a winner in Google’s #ifihadglass contest. She is Vice President, Publisher Development, SIPX (formerly Stanford Intellectual Property Exchange), a startup based in Palo Alto, CA, that provides services to academic libraries and publishers. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Yale University and lives in Trumbull with her husband and two sons.
