Women’s Fellowship luncheon
On Thursday, April 16 at noon, Unity Hill United Church of Christ Women’s Fellowship will hold their monthly luncheon meeting at 364 White Plains Road. Spaghetti dinner and free concert
The April edition of the monthly diner-concert series at Trumbull’s Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main Street (Route 111) on Saturday, April 18, will feature classical music. It starts with their restaurant quality spaghetti and meatball dinner at 5:30 p.m. Dinner includes salad, beverages and dessert.
At 7 p.m., the free concert begins, featuring an evening of classical piano and violin music. On the keyboard will be noted pianist Michael Maronich and on violin will feature Julia Meynert.

St. Theresa Mystery Theater Night
Saturday, April 25, from 6:30-10 p.m., St. Theresa School will host a Mystery Theater Night. A $40 ticket will include dinner, beverages, dessert, and a Mysterious Interactive Production by Crime & Merriment, LLC. BYOB . There will also be a free Classic Car Show (weather permitting), in the St. Theresa School side lot directly before the show. Hospice Memorial Service
The Hospice at Home team from Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut will sponsor its annual Hospice Memorial Service to remember those patients served between April 2014 and March 2015, on Tuesday, May 5, at 7 p.m., at the Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave.
The service is offered as an opportunity for survivors to honor and remember their loved one, as well as visit with hospice team caregivers one more time.
VNS’ Hospice at Home staff provides end-of-life care for many local residents as part of the agency’s complement of hospice home care services. A reception will follow the May 5 service. During the ceremony, a memorial roll will be read and remembrances shared.
