Spaghetti dinner and free concert

The spaghetti dinner/concert series resumes Saturday, Jan. 19, at Trumbull’s Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St. The 7 p.m. free concert features the Blue River Jazz Band who will heat up the night with hot jazz and swing music. They feature the New Orleans sounds of Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller and Count Basie.

The evening starts at 5:30 p.m., with a spaghetti supper of pasta, meatballs, salad, beverages and desserts.

The cost is $12.50, $11.50 for seniors.

The Parish of St. Catherine of Siena, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, will hold a Holy Hour for Life, on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 7-8 p.m. It will be a time of Eucharistic Adoration during which a

Pro-Life Scriptural Rosary will be prayed, and will conclude with Benediction of the Blessed
