Golden Eagle Marching Band performs in Citrus Parade

The Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band (THSGEMB), led by band director Peter Horton, with 101 members of the award winning marching band, performed in the 2018 Orlando Citrus Parade on Saturday, Dec. 29.

The THSGEMB was the first of many marching bands from around the country in the parade, in addition to the Big Ten and SEC teams that are part of the 2019 Citrus Bowl game held on New Year’s Day.

The 2018 Citrus Parade was broadcast on air by WFTV in Orlando and livestreamed on WFTV.com and YouTube.

The band’s participation in the Citrus Parade was its first performance during the trip to Orlando, which also included music and dance workshops at Walt Disney World for the students, as well as marching in the Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Parade on New Year’s Day.
