Ryan’s Rebels Trunk or Treat is coming to Madison Middle School in Trumbull on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The first annual family event is a fundraiser for Ryan’s Rebels, a local nonprofit started in honor of three year-old Trumbull resident Ryan Joyce. Ryan battled neuroblastoma for 18 months before he died in December 2015. Ryan’s Rebels now supports families and children fighting pediatric cancer.

The Oct. 28, Trunk or Treat will be held, rain or shine, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Madison Middle School and includes face painting, pumpkin decorating, a DJ, trunk design prizes and more.

Admission is free for trick-or-treaters and a $20 suggested donation is requested for each participating car. Registration includes organic candy and toys to distribute. Ryan’s Rebels organizers are also seeking community support through volunteers, sponsorships and donations for the event. To register your trunk, donate or find out more, visit RyansRebels.org.
