The 2nd grade winter concert is Friday, Dec. 9, at 1:30 p.m.
The 5th grade concert is Monday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m.
The band and strings concert is Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.
The Holiday Boutique will be held on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 15 and 16, during school hours. Students may buy presents for parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. Items will be priced as follows: $3 for 1one gift and $5 for two gifts.
Upcoming Father’s Club activities include the Polar Express movie night on Thursday, Dec. 8, and the Star Wars Rogue One movie event on Saturday, Dec. 17. Visit bhfathersclub.com to register.

The Holiday Extravaganza will run Monday-Friday, Dec. 12-16 during the day and the evenings of Monday, Dec. 12 and Wednesday, Dec. 14, before and after the school concerts. Tickets are five for $1.
The Band and Strings Concert will be held on Monday, Dec. 12 and the grades 2 and 5 Chorus Concerts will be on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Both are at 7 p.m., in the cafetorium.
Grade 3 students will begin their En Pointe Residency Program on Tuesday, Dec. 13 and continue on Thursday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 20. Grade 3 parents along will grade 2 students are invited to their performance on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m.
The District Wide Cultural Diversity meeting will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m., in the Media Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. Note change of date due to BOE budget meetings.
Sunday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m., Father’s Club reserved movie at Bow Tie Cinemas. Join us to view Star War Rogue One. Order form for tickets and snack orders were sent home. Space is limited. Reservations must be received by Friday, Dec. 9.
Every Tuesday is Spirit Day. Students and staff wear blue and white and wear red, white and blue for Citizenship on the last Tuesday of the month.
Frenchtown is once again enrolled in the Stop and Shop A+ program and runs through March 16. Frenchtown’s ID # is 06238. You can register your card now with your 13-digit Stop and Shop card number found on the back of the card. We are collecting Box Tops for Education. Send in your box stops to earn money for Frenchtown.
We are enrolled in the ShopRite for Education program. Our school code is 49972 and we earn points towards free educational equipment. The program runs until April 26. Enroll at shopriteforeducation.com. Local ShopRite’s that participate are in East Haven, Hamden, Milford, Orange, Stratford, Wallingford and West Haven. Frenchtown will earn bonus points if at least 75 families enroll. We are only at five families so far.
Jane Ryan School
Jane Ryan has announced it’s upcoming holiday events. The annual Holiday Boutique will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1. Students can purchase reasonably priced items for friends and family.
On Monday, Dec. 19, under the direction of Ms. Fryz, students will participate in the annual Winter Concert.
